Health & Safety Guidelines

We appreciate your business during this time of uncertainty regarding COVID-19. Please rest assured Bungalows Key Largo will be doing everything we can to keep our guests and staff safe and healthy. We have implemented the following operational changes based on the recommendations from the government, CDC and local health department. These policies are subject to change without notice.

Throughout the Resort
  • We will be limiting hotel occupancy to 50%
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are set up throughout the property
  • Plexi-glass Shields have been added to all necessary areas
  • All employees will have their temperatures taken at the start of their shift
  • All employees will be practicing social distancing
Front Desk & Lobby
  • Arrivals will be spaced out to limit the number of guests and employees in the lobby area
  • In lieu of valet parking, our bellmen will guide guests by golf cart to a parking space
  • Front Desk is available 24 hours a day by phone (dial “0” from your room phone) or by text via our virtual concierge
Housekeeping
  • Housekeeping will service rooms every other day during your stay unless otherwise requested
  • We have removed all non-essential items in the bungalows until further notice, including magazines, pens, paper, menus, decorative pillows, throw blankets, extra pillows, ice bucket, and bathroom scale
  • All essential in-room items will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized each time the bungalow is serviced
  • Turndown service is suspended until further notice
  • All common areas and bathrooms will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day
Dining
  • Seating in our restaurants will be staggered to keep dining rooms at no more than 25% occupancy
    • Groups of 10 or more guests will be seated at multiple tables to allow for proper social distancing
  • Guests will be seated at alternating tables to keep appropriate distance
  • Tables, chairs, and all tabletop items will be sanitized after each guests’ dining experience
  • Breakfast will be served in Fish Tales from a “cook to order” menu rather than our buffet
  • Fish Tales salad bar will be discontinued, and salads will be available on the lunch menu
  • Fish Tales dessert buffet will be discontinued and offered on the menu instead
  • We will offer limited complimentary room service from our regular outlet menus three times per day:
    • Each room can order once for breakfast, once for lunch and once for dinner in lieu of visiting a restaurant for that meal:
      • Menus will be from the outlet available during designated mealtime and available on the TV in your bungalow
      • One drink per person will be included with each meal
      • Additional orders or alterations to the menus will incur an additional cost
    • Our standard room service menu will still be available for an additional cost
Spa & Wellness
  • Spa services will be offered on a limited basis
  • Our daily Yoga classes are running and will adhere to social distancing guidelines. All equipment will be thoroughly sanitized after each class.
  • Fitness Tiki Hut is currently closed per Monroe County Government order
